Breeding: Unlike most stick insects, the black beauty stick insect is not parthenogenic and requires a male to reproduce.
Housing: The enclosure should be at least 18 cm tall and partially enclosed, with one full side of mesh and the rest of non-perforated plastic or glass as they love to hide and feel safe.
Temperature: around 20-22˚C, and humidity ranges between 55-65%, but these will do just fine at average room temperature so long as the humidity is kept in the higher ranges, which aids the moulting process.
